Explosion-proof dust collector is an important industrial equipment used to filter dust, smoke and other particulate matter in industrial emissions to prevent environmental pollution and potential explosion risks. 1. Design to prevent dust accumulation

The body structure of the explosion-proof dust collector needs to be specially designed to prevent the accumulation of combustible dust in internal components. For example, all beams, partitions, etc. should be equipped with dustproof boards, and the slope of the dustproof boards should be less than 70 degrees to reduce the risk of dust accumulation. The slide angle of the ash hopper should be greater than 70 degrees, and slide plates should be welded to the two adjacent side plates to eliminate dust accumulation caused by too small an included angle.

2. Optimization of dust cleaning system

In the design of filter bag length, bag spacing, and dust cleaning system, it is necessary to ensure thorough dust cleaning to avoid blindly reducing the size of the equipment, resulting in excessive density between bags or too long filter bags, resulting in incomplete dust cleaning and dust accumulation.

3. Anti-static measures

The anti-static filter bag is used, and its friction potential is lower than that of ordinary filter materials, which is helpful to prevent the accumulation of static electricity from causing spark discharge and igniting pulverized coal. Common anti-static filter materials include base cloth woven with conductive yarn filter materials, carbon fiber blended filter materials, stainless steel fiber blended filter materials, etc. At the same time, conductors with good conductivity should be added between all connecting flanges of the dust collector to ensure reliable grounding of the equipment and prevent the accumulation of static electricity.

4. Explosion-proof devices and facilities

  • Explosion-proof valve settings: Bag dust removal equipment needs to be equipped with explosion-proof valves according to its explosion-proof ventilation area and explosion pressure, such as adjustable explosion-proof doors with safety locks, heavy hammer-type explosion-proof doors or explosion-proof diaphragms, to ensure that the pressure can be relieved in time in the event of an explosion.

5. Monitoring and control system

  • Dust concentration monitoring: Install a dust concentration monitoring device to monitor the dust concentration in the bag dust collector in real time. When the concentration exceeds the preset threshold, an alarm will be issued in time and corresponding measures will be taken.
