Explosion-proof dust collector is a special type of dust collection equipment designed to provide safe and efficient dust control in flammable and explosive environments. It usually consists of an explosion-proof shell, a high-efficiency filter and related control systems, and has the characteristics of explosion-proof, fire-proof and safety.
Main air duct connected to the dust collector air inlet duct
1. The air duct should be made of steel metal material instead of aluminum metal material. The air inlet duct connected to the dust collector should be a circular cross-section air duct;
2. The pipelines of the explosion-proof dust removal system should take measures to prevent and control dust explosions according to the explosion characteristics of combustible dust, and use one or more of the following explosion-proof devices to reduce the risk of explosion;
a) Explosion venting device, b) Inerting device, c) Explosion-proof device, d) Explosion suppression device.
3. Dust collectors and air ducts containing toxic, corrosive dust and fuel dust should use explosion suppression devices;
4. Air duct strength requirements:
The design strength of the air duct arranged outside the factory building shall not be less than that of the dust collector, and must meet the following requirements:
1) The air inlet duct of the explosion-proof dust collector does not lead directly to the inside of the building. The air inlet duct is set on the side or top of the dust collector at an angle of 90° to the external wall entering the building, or at the front of the dust collector at an angle of 180° to the outside of the building;
2) Install an explosion vent device at the elbow of the air inlet pipe of the dust collector, and the explosion vent should not face the inside of the factory building.
The design strength of the air duct connected to the dust collector arranged inside the factory building shall not be less than the design strength of the dust collector;
The air duct connecting section is fastened with metal components, and a transition connection is used that is equal to the cross section of the air duct. The design strength of the air duct connecting section is greater than the design strength of the air duct.
